Dairy-free, Vegan Magic Chocolate Shell Recipe

If you've been following us for any length of time, you already know how coconut-obsessed we are at ThePureWay (and some of you may know how enthusiastic Luciana is of all things chocolate), so when we came across this spin on a recipe we’ve been using for years we had to share it with our community!

The “3-ingredient Salted Chocolate Magic Shell” from our newest vendor, Wildly Organic is gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. It takes no time to make (and no time eat) and it's a healthy alternative to the classic hard shell syrups out there.

The magic comes from the coconut oil - because it melts just above room temperature, it freezes really quickly when you pour it onto your favorite icecream, become a hard shell of salty, chocolatey deliciousness (and oh how yummy it is).

3-Ingredient Salted Chocolate Magic Shell

This treat comes together in under five minutes. Real food for the win!

Servings: 2
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes


1Tablespoon Wildly Organic Centrifuge Extracted Coconut Oil
2oz dark chocolate (85%)approximately 6 squares
1/8teaspoon Wildly Organic Himalayan Pink Salt


In a small pot, combine the coconut oil and chocolate.
Heat on low until everything is melted and whisk to combine.
Stir in the salt and mix.
Pour over your ice cream immediately and watch the magic happen!

PS. For a little protein and some extra crunch, include crushed pieces of your favorite nuts immediately after you drizzle the chocolate on your favorite dairy free – vegan ice cream. YUM!
